Application
Energy chips is only one of the many applications of which this multifunctional chipper is capable. The material can be sold as smoking chips (2-5 mm), Biomass and playground covering (25-50 mm), and sludge compost (from 70 mm). The in-feed speed can be adjusted continuously and, with the combined use of varying screen sizes and the delta knife, it is possible to produce chips of almost any size. All this means that the Dutch Dragon E-Chipper can be used for a wide range of applications.
Compact and Simple Design
The E-Chipper 6060 was developed as a mobile chipper for the professional user. A 60 x 60-cm in-feed chute and a ø 100-cm chipping drum guarantee an enormous capacity in both trunk wood and branch material.
The E-Chipper 6060 enables you to effortless reduce maximum trunk diameters of 60 cm, to wood chips of extremely consistent quality. The speed of the sealed chipping drum (1,000 RPM) is used to eject the chipped product. The E-Chipper does not contain any augers or separate ejector wheels. This translates into reduced weight and less dust in the end product.
Operation through DD-ECS-PC computer system (touch screen)
Operating the E-Chipper 6060 is kept very simple. The control panel depicted here is featuring the various buttons and indicators for start/stop, throttle, in feed speed, lifting/pressing the feed roller, ejector pipe control, etc. and all that in your own language. The John Deere motor control is also integrated in this system The chipper’s hydraulic system is controlled with an DD-ECS-PC computer system. The system, which was developed by Dutch Dragon, is responsible for all switching operations. The E-Chipper contains no failure-sensitive relays!
Top Quality Wood Chips
The chipper drum has a total of four blades that are connected two by two at a 90° angle to the drum. This creates a more even chipping pattern and allows the drum to turn more evenly. The Dutch Dragon E-Chipper is fitted with a screen with longitudinal and cross shafts to prevent the formation of large end chips in the product. The clean, dust-free chips are however already produced in the front area of the chipper. The unique form of the chipping drum, in combination with the perfect angles of the blades and counter blade, ensure an optimal cutting profile.
No long branch sections
The hydraulically operated delta blade, a second counter blade, provides a 90° cutting angle for branch and other fine materials. In other words, the branches are not pulled in, but simply chopped off. This makes it possible to create consistent chips even with branch materials – without any big end sections. |
